Advice on what I should do?

I am a nurse. I work in a general intensive care system. Today I had a seriously ill patient and worked with her to take my lunch break two hours late. I decided to go to my friends house (street) on a 15 minute nap. It was three hours, I went back - The patient was well;! Does the nurse was pale and called my nurse manager. I know what I did was irresponsible, and I have no idea what kind of punishment to expect or what to tell my boss. Any input would be appreciated. PS I love my job and I have been told that I am good at what I do (already have an ICU nurse for 10 years). 1 hour ago - 3 days left to answer. Additional information 1 hour ago A similar incident happened six months ago. I went to my car to sleep (at night), and was awakened by my cell phone - it was the nurse asked me if I came back. I had slept for about 2 hours. Hospital guidelines say you get 45 minutes. This was not documented (happy), but it happened. I was also late for work (2 to 5 minutes late) of 2 times in the past six months, the manager knows, but so far has not spoken to me about these incidents. Thanks for the answers yet. Do you think I should wait to be called at the office? Y "is a good idea to go tomorrow on my day off? I have no excuses, no clear idea on how to prevent recurrence (not the words" I will stay in the hospital during breaks). I think it could go either way for you, I think we're in an area where someone's life can depend on you to NAP (no, I'm not kidding about you, do not believe that shit happens) I hope to be called (perhaps no) and if you explain what you said in this forum and assure them that never happens again (and make sure it does not work) Maybe you should be honest and explain how you're tired. I know that nurses work long hours and hard, and I do not envy you. I would not go, but instead to focus on relaxing and being able to work fully rested seems not to be trusted when it comes to a nap. Do not. I way.As it put to sleep 15 minutes and woke up three hours later, wondering where my day! We are guilty and must stop biting! If I were you I would not go on my day off. I would like them to meditate on this, and presented to the next round, bright eyes and bushy tail! If you face, for example, you realize you have a problem and wants to ensure that never happens again. Good luck, and GO nap. Wait until they come into contact and then tell your boss that you have taken some courses and study, and have difficulty to adjust time. I certainly will not happen again and stop doing what you do to become so tired at the same time.
